Tiffany Hill South has three full time instructors that can address any of your western riding needs.  Beginners all the way up to advanced riders are welcome.  We offer instruction in pleasure riding and the exciting sport of cutting.

Pleasure Riding

If you are not interested in cutting, Tiffany Hill South also has a very active pleasure riding program where our trainers can work with you on the fine points of western riding.  Beginners are taught the basics of riding, in order to establish a solid foundation.

Meet our lesson horses

We have a number of lesson horses for you to ride, regardless of your experience.  Start out with our beginner horses such as Shady and Bolena and move to our advanced horses such as Hank and Ollie.  Our horses are great for helping you learn how to ride or teaching you to cut.

Shady

Shady is our veteran lesson horse.  Shady is mostly used for beginning riders who are just learning the basics of riding.  Shady is a wonderful confidence builder and also participates in our summer camp program.

Bolena

Bolena is a retired cutting horse who now is used in our lesson and summer camp programs.  Bolena is used for both beginner riders and also more advanced riders who are looking to learn how to cut.  Bolena does regular riding lessons as well as lessons on the flag, or mechanical cow, to teach people how to cut. 

Johnny

Johnny is also a retired cutting horse who is used for lessons and our summer camp.  Johnny is typically used for more advanced riders but is great for teaching you the basics of cutting.  Johhny is well loved by all who ride him.

J.C.

Like Johnny, J.C. is used for advanced lesson students, and is very well loved by those who ride him.  J.C. also participates in our summer camp program.  In addition to doing lessons and camp, J.C. also works as a turnback horse during our cutting shows.  Make sure to stop by during one of our exciting cutting competitions to see J.C. in action as well as our talented cutting horses!

Hank

Hank is another retired cutting horse who is now used to give lessons.  Hank is a wonderful horse to ride, but is reserved for advanced riders.

Ollie

Ollie is also a retired cutting horse.  Ollie, or Double Bar Oil, has won over $37,000 in his cutting career and has also placed in the "top ten" at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, which is a national competition.  Ollie is a fantastic horse to ride, but is better suited for an advanced rider.  So set your goals high and aim to ride this champion.
